Britec Was Corporate Sponsor for the Leduc-Nisku EDA October Partnership Breakfast

This past Tuesday, October 18, was a special day at the Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Authority (EDA) October Partnership Breakfast, and Britec was right there as corporate sponsor.

In addition to occurring during Small Business Week, this provided an excellent opportunity to network with small business colleagues, focus on the topic of labour market readiness, and enjoy keynote speaker, Sebastian Panciuk, Director of MBA Career Services at the University of Alberta.  The objective of the breakfast was to illustrate how to bridge the gap between capability and expectations and introduce those in attendance to the Alberta School of Business MBA and Co-op programs.

The Leduc-Nisku Economic EDA is the representation of a partnership that was formed in 1984 between the City of Leduc and Leduc County as a means to plan and lead strategies for the maintainable development of economic wealth throughout the region. Since 1999, the partnership has grown considerably — so much so that it now includes the surrounding municipalities and has become Alberta’s International Region – the Gateway to Opportunity!

The Leduc-Nisku Economic EDA is all about planning and leading in the formation of strategies that will maintain development of economic wealth. It is not surprising that due to their incredible growth, the organization now includes the surrounding municipalities and has become Alberta’s International Region – the Gateway to Opportunity!

The Economic EDA and Britec share the same vision of the future. Britec is all about working with you in planning and implementing information solutions. We just add one facet to that by working with businesses and providing solutions that are affordable, efficient and effective that will sustain and improve your bottom-line.
